Sunni Colón | Psychedelic baby-making music

When I first listened to Sunni Colón’s seven-track EP Thierry Disko, I was carried away into an almost psychedelic trance. The dreamy voice and sun-kissed beats of the Californian funk singer are a perfect companion on beach bike rides underneath the palm trees or sensual sunsets. Though Sunni Colón Thierry Tetsu, or if you’re friends with the guy, Kayce, won’t be seeing much of the beach himself, as the singer and producer currently resides in Tokyo. A city that matches perfectly with his creativity, looking at his aesthetically pleasing Instagram account.

Thierry’s disco-esque music has similar vibes to those of Frank Ocean, Jamiroquai, and The Weeknd, though packed with a lot more sexual tension. His angelic voice effortlessly sings about pink flowers and pussies that ain’t that pink. It’s baby-making music at its best and admittedly, I’m a little jealous at whomever this handsome cool kid had in mind when crafting these songs.
