Rationale | Vulnerable, soul-pinching ballads

Imagine being in a big city, strolling around on a late summer night while the streets are dimly lit. A warm breeze gently lifts up your hair. You’re carried away by your thoughts, unconsciously noticing the vibrant lights of the cars and advertisements pass by. That’s what Rationale’s baritone voice brings in motion. His exceptional single “Tethered”, off of his four-track EP “Vessels”, is a vulnerable piece of art that might cause a tear in the eyes of the brokenhearted (and yes, that happened).

Singer/songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Rationale is London’s latest addition to the many great artists the city already houses. Rationale, whose real name is Tinashe Fazakerley, was born in Zimbabwe, started making music as Tinash√©, and had his breakthrough in 2015 under the alias Rationale. He started off small by releasing music on SoundCloud and Spotify, but quickly gained recognition and admiration from singers like Pharrell, Justin Timberlake and Elton John. His debut album, which will be released later this year, will be exclusively licensed to Warner Music UK.
