Her mixtape is called “Best Kept Secret”, a name that couldn’t be more suitable for the gem that is Paige Wells. The Indiana slash Los Angeles residing smooth R&B singer has a Kehlani-like voice that will surely take the world by storm very soon. Her seven-song long mixtape, that was released two years ago, is an ode to intimate nights that feel like ecstasy and features bedroom-recording neo-soul singer Todd Zack Jr. and low-key Calumet City rapper Eli.
Her new project, Wellsmade, will be released this spring and includes eight tracks, plus one bonus track. The beats will stem from producers Trill, French, E. White (Fort Wayne-born Evan White) and Waves. The latter with whom she previously worked with on the Adrian Marcel-inspired track “Runnin'”.
