NOT KLYDE | Your oddly cozy Valentine’s Day trap soundtrack

This one goes out to all the couples, almost couples and well, those who will never be couples but will be between the sheets this Wednesday.

I got you covered with your Valentine’s Day soundtrack.

It’s called TWISTED PEPPERMINT, a post-post Christmas mixtape that was released end of January by an artist whose name is defnitely NOT KLYDE.

It’s the perfect non-cheesy but romantic enough bedroom-background-music, in case you don’t want to take the Maxwell route this year.

It also has the right amount of Christmas sleigh bells to bring back a little post-Christmas spirit and make the atmosphere extra cozy.

Though mostly, it’s intriguingly weird. Like a, I might need to light one up to get this type of weird.

Which is what is so fascinating about Vancouver artist NOT KLYDE. His second SoundCloud profile, hilariously named STILL NOT KLYDE, features a header that reads “What would you do if you ran out of SoundCloud minutes but you’re too broke to do anythin bout it“, with an accompanying bio that states “read my header. you are in a museum.”

At this point, I have no idea what’s going on.

But then there are tracks like Then The Lord and UNTITLEDCOMEFRIDAY, and I’m like, whatever you say Kyle Yumang. I’m down.
