Midas Hutch

Midas Hutch | An 80s-inspired meets R&B road trip

People that know FS Green might have been a little confused upon discovering Midas Hutch. “Hold up, this dude looks an awful lot like…” Yes, he does. And no, there’s no long lost twin scenario happening here. Midas Hutch is another alias of Amsterdam producer Franklin Groen, one that makes cruising on the highway with your bae even cozier.

His sound? Heavily eighties inspired, where funk meets electro meets new-school disco meets R&B. And if that sounds hard to imagine; it’s the type of upbeat music that makes your head wiggle while your shoulders alternately move an inch up and down on the beat. His EP “The High”, featuring Bluey Robinson, Maribelle and Mar, was released right before the end of last year. After that solid R&B remixes of Goldlink, D.R.A.M., Craig David, and Bryson Tiller started appearing on YouTube. All of which are packed in this epic 38-minute long EARMILK mix.
